Another Get Rich Quickly Scheme?

Posted on By Peter | no comments

I’m often drawn to get rich quickly schemes like a moth to the burning flame although rarely take action to join any and especially loathed to recommend or promote any. In my experience (and everyone’s gut reaction) they are mostly scams, pyramid schemes, illegal, shady, require too much work, require active selling and so on.

There is a company that caught my eye back in January of this year and I’ve been following it closely ever since. I even went ahead and paid the $180 signup fee and have paid the $100 per month subscription fees to be a member.

OK, I know, all get rich quick schemes are scams and before you lose all respect for me and take sincere pity (or just laugh at my expense), please take a minute or two to read on about this…opportunity.

Still with me? Right.

The company is called Freedom Rocks and has been around for a little over a year now. They provide a certain forex trading strategy (they are at pains to point out it’s not a system or a signals service but a strategy) that when done correctly can provide consistant daily returns directly to your account.

There is of course a risk involved with trading on the forex markets (a huge risk infact) but this strategy attempts to negate this risk by trading certain currency pairs (if you have no idea what I’m talking about here, just go with it for now – the juicy bit is coming up soon) so that when one goes up, the other goes down – like a seesaw. So the profits and losses cancel out to around breakeven (0).

This is what should happen in theory, but in practice I have found that the pairs don’t always cancel each other out and you can some high ‘virtual’ losses or profits. These are only realized if you close your trades. So if you have some virtual losses, they don’t become real unless you close your trades. Otherwise they will most likely swing back into profit.

Now the juicy bit…

Since 20th February I have been testing this Freedom Rocks strategy and have achieved some startling results. In four months I have made over 50% returns from my initial deposit!

Think about that for a second. While you are reading this and earning your 5% per annum with your savings account, I’m quietly earning 12.5% per month for the last four months.

Everyday interest is credited to my account and one or twice a week I buy and sell small amounts that increases my profits slightly. About once a month my virtual profits are so high that it makes sense for me to close all my trades and start again. Sometimes I’m earning 10-15% of my initial deposit every time I close these trades!

I have kept a online journal of my experience with Freedom Rocks over on ForexAdventure.com. I’ve posted my earnings in an easy to read format so you can see how I’m making money everyday and my capital is growing before my eyes (even on a weekend!).

If this ‘get rich quick’ scheme interests you there are a few things you need to know…

1. This is not really a get rich quick scheme, it just looks like one

2. You need a large initial deposit – $10,000 or more is my recommendation. You can start with less but it’s not worth it because…

3. This costs $100 per month to be a member. If you have less than $10,000 then your forex earnings might not be enough to cover your monthly costs

4. Forex is still high risk. Even though this strategy tries to reduce this risk anything can happen in forex so only invest money you can afford to lose. Don’t go taking out loans or spending money you can’t afford to lose in this thing

5. My trading results are representative, you may not have the same level of success

6. This is a pretty hands off strategy, if you want to spend hours learning forex and staring at charts and prices all day wondering whether to buy or sell, then this is not what you are looking for. The Freedom Rocks strategy takes about 5 minutes of your time per day (Mon-Fri) and doesn’t require anything more complex than copying and typing in numbers in a form.

With that said, if you want to read more about my personal experience, head over to ForexAdventure.com. If you want to watch the presentation on how this might be right for you, then check out Freedom Rocks.

If you have any questions, I’d be delighted to try and answer them for you :)
