I’m going to put my neck out on the line and give some Premier League predictions. No doubt they’ll be totally wrong and in 9 months we can all have a good laugh how naive I was. Anyway, here we go, my predictions:

Arsenal haven’t added any quality or depth to their squad. If Van Persie gets injured who will you have upfront?! Arteta is another man of glass and a poor man’s Fabregas, Walcott and Wilshere can’t go more than a couple of months without getting injured, and Vermaelen is also down and out with injury in the first month of the season. Arshavin performs only once in every 4 matches, there is no reliable cover for the goalkeeper…I think I’m being generous by giving Arsenal a 5th place, Tottenham might sneak 5th.
Its generous, considering the form they displayed so far. But hope that they prove everyone wrong. I suppose they have just about enough signings to cover the loss of any position…………….
Well it looks like it’s not just me who still think Arsenal are going to struggle, Alan Shearer also predicts a tough time for the gunners this season and agrees with my prediction of a 5th place finish.
