@Tom: I've got freelancers here in India, what I really want is a full time content writer in the office. If you know of anyone that might want to spend a year in India, even if just for some working experience, send them to me!

Regarding doing a job you enjoy, if someone is in a job they don't enjoy they need to take a long hard look at why they are doing it and why they aren't doing something they enjoy. OK, if you want to be a writer or artist then you might have to do some crappy jobs till you get your break, but if you give up on your dream and 'settle' for something less than what you want then you've only got yourself to blame :)

@Father: Aerospace Engineering was what I wanted to do at the time because it interested me (and still does). I didn't do it because I thought it would lead to a higher salary. Similarly, I'm now working in IT (well, marketing in IT) and really enjoy what I do. I must do because I earn less than my little sister and moved to India - because it's what I want to do, not because it pays more.

My English is at least as good as yours... How much are you paying, how many hours to you require, and can I work from home?

I think a lot of your comments apply to the UK as well. For example; no-one here can speak, understand, write or type English with anything beyond a rudimentary level of ability, and it's supposed to be our first language for most of us. Also, many of us don't work in jobs for reasons of enjoyment or interest. I certainly don't.

Dudeee

Look for a part time person who is already in the spin doctor (advertising industry) or better yet go to the english department of either ethiraj, stella or WCC and try to recruit part time people who can work from home. It would work out better, cheaper and a lot more fun.

worst case scenario u are geting paid to check out the indian babes.

I know the Head of the department at Ethiraj. Both of us could go and check with her if u want.
